Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to carry out a Model-Based Development (MDB) role with MATLAB and Simulink at Ansible Motion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions with a focus on optimising performance using physics modelling at its foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create new software from user requirements specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
  • Design and develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code in a MathWorks toolchain.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues, and perform root cause analysis for defects in applications.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A good standard in the following tools in an engineering application:
    • MATLAB
    • Simulink
  • Experience in using physics-based tools to model real-world systems.
  • Be a fast and critical thinker, motivated by finding solutions.
  • An ability to multi-task and prioritise work naturally and be well organised.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Communicating technical concepts clearly and concisely in a team environment.
