Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at People with Energy. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software applications using Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi PLCs and HMIs.
  • Configure SCADA systems, including Wonderware, Rockwell, and Siemens.
  • Deliver projects on-time and to budget, in accordance with industry standards and contractual requirements.
  • Conduct system analysis and development, sometimes with limited support from other personnel.
  • Document code consistently and ensure it is fully understandable by other individuals.
Requirements
  • Previous professional experience writing PLC code within a customer-based or customer-focused environment.
  • Solid report writing skills, including FDS and Test Plans.
  • Commercial awareness and a good standard of secondary education.
  • HNC/HND/Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
