Salary: £90 - £95 per day

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a fantastic trust in Tiverton. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with high-functioning autism and ADHD across KS3 and KS4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general classroom support as well as 1:1 and small group interventions when necessary
  • Assist the teacher with lesson preparation, supervision, resource gathering and activity set up
  • Ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of all students, fostering a safe and supportive environment
  • Effectively manage behaviour in line with students' EHCPs and meet their individual needs
  • Facilitate students' access to the curriculum and help them engage in their learning

About You:

  • Passionate about supporting young people, particularly those with autism and ADHD
  • You are proactive, resilient and eager to actively contribute to the school community
  • You have a good sense of humour and enjoy working collaboratively within a team
  • You can build strong, positive relationships with students, staff and parents/carers
  • Prior experience working with individuals with autism and ADHD is desirable
