Job Description

Job Title: Nursery Practitioner

Location: Solihull

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Hourly Rate: £11.00-£13.40

Job Summary

We are working with an excellent childcare provider who is looking for a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join their team. The successful candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in childcare or early years and will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Key Person: Develop strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  2. Deliver Outstanding Learning Opportunities: Plan and provide effective teaching and learning experiences
  3. Safeguard and Promote Health, Safety, and Welfare: Ensure the well-being and safety of children at all times
  4. Communicate Effectively: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to meet the individual needs of children
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Level 3 or above qualification in childcare or early years
  • DBS: Must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to have a new one processed
  • Paediatric First Aid: Must have paediatric first aid training or be willing to undergo a 2-day training course
  • Comfortable with Nappies: Must be comfortable with changing nappies if required
