About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Fitness Coach to join our team at Ballymore Asset Management Limited in Canning Town, E14. This is a permanent position that offers 16 hours of work per week, between Saturday and Sunday.

As a Fitness Coach, you will be responsible for supporting the Health Club Manager and Estate Management Team with all operational aspects of the leisure facility. You will consistently deliver a high level of customer care to all residents and guests, teach exercise classes, follow health and safety guidelines, and conduct health and safety checks.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support the Health Club Manager and Estate Management Team with all operational aspects of the leisure facility.
  • Deliver a high level of customer care to all residents and guests.
  • Teach exercise classes to residents/guests of the Leisure facility.
  • FOLLOW health and safety guidelines to ensure the fitness clubs facilities are safe for the members/residents.
  • Conduct health and safety checks such as pool testing and general health and safety surveillance.
  • Work as an integral part of the team, to greet and interact with residents/guests, carry out duties as specified and ensure the environment and equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Personal train clients when required.
  • Be the first respondent in case of any emergency in the Leisure facility.
  • Be fully familiar with the services offered by the Leisure facility/estate and serve as a customer service liaison between residents/guests and management.
  • Stock all storage units; clean and organize all fitness areas, including cleaning all fitness equipment, studios and any rooms/areas within the leisure facility.
  • Recognize opportunities and refer, promote/sell PT, wellness, exercise classes, master classes or any other service offered by the Leisure facility.
  • Cover the fitness reception when required.

About You

  • You should have a recognised fitness qualification Personal Trainer Level 3 or above.
  • You should have proven ability to build strong working relationships with clients.
  • You should be passionate, lively, approachable and charismatic.
  • You should be a pro-active self-starter.
  • You should be a good team player.
  • You should be able to offer constructive advice to others.
  • You should have good working knowledge of health & safety.
  • You should have face to face customer services experience.
  • You should have experience in delivering fitness training classes.

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum.
