Job Opportunity

Venesky-Brown is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join their team on a 10-month contract with potential for extension. This role requires strong database management skills and experience with data analysis, reporting, and visualisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a data repository accessible to the project team.
  • Provide Excel outputs for sharing with NHS partner organisations.
  • Extend the data structure to support import, separation, and comparison of data from partner organisations.
  • Create reports on financial liability, member and contract stats, and data validation outcomes.
  • Advise on limitations and risk for the project data repository and manage the move to an alternative data tool if necessary.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and Business Analyst on data requirements and specifications.

Essential Skills:

  • Expertise in Access DB and SQL.
  • Experience in database management, data modelling, reporting, analysis, presentation, and visualisation.
  • Ability to engage positively and professionally with the project team, internal and external subject matter experts, and stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in applying a range of tools and techniques to collate and analyse data.
  • Experience in conceiving, designing, and building dashboards using tools such as Excel and enterprise BI solutions.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to define and implement reporting requirements.
  • Experience working on large projects.

Desirable Skills:

  • Data analysis qualification.
  • 5+ years of experience as a data analyst.
