E-Task Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Nurse to join our Out of Hours Team as an E-Task Coordinator at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting junior Doctors and must have excellent leadership skills, communication, and organisational abilities.
Main Duties- Coordinate the E-Task on the patient track system, prioritising calls and communicating with Doctors on call.
- Maintain, monitor, and evaluate standards of care to a satisfactory level.
- Ensure Trust policies and procedures are followed, informing Night Sisters of any issues.
- Critically evaluate outcomes with Night Sisters and contribute to nursing and healthcare service development.
- Provide training for staff on using E-Task.
- Create a safe handover procedure for Doctors.
- Communicate effectively with all disciplines, including Doctors, and coordinate patient care.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure effective communication channels between wards and Night Sisters' team.
- Deal with complaints according to Trust procedures.
- Ensure all staff receive mandatory training in manual handling, fire, and resuscitation.
- Ensure patients are seen in a timely manner when calls are put on the E-Task system.
- Support Doctors and nurses by taking patients' bloods and cannulating patients.
