About the Role

We are seeking a talented Piping Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis, a leading global consultancy with over 100 years of design and engineering expertise. As a Piping Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of nuclear energy and contributing to the development of innovative solutions for the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop piping systems for nuclear power plants and other clean energy projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations
  • Develop and implement piping design concepts and solutions
  • Conduct risk assessments and HAZOPs to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients

Requirements

  • Education to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Proven experience in piping design and engineering, preferably in the nuclear industry
  • Strong understanding of piping codes and regulations, including ASME and API
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
