As a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our manufacturing systems. Your responsibilities will include fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and ensuring seamless operations.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults to keep our manufacturing processes moving
  • Conduct regular maintenance, inspections, and safety checks, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
  • Collaborate with our engineering and manufacturing teams to improve system performance and recommend upgrades
  • Keep your skills sharp with ongoing training and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies
  • Supervise contractor personnel, maintaining safety and quality standards
  • Work with modern electrical systems including PLCs, Drives, and AC & DC motor circuitry-interpreting wiring and schematic diagrams to ensure precision work

Requirements:

  • Ideally, you'll have an ONC qualification or equivalent, typically gained through an apprenticeship in electrical engineering or a Modern Apprenticeship certificate.
  • Previous experience working with electrical systems in a manufacturing environment is a must.
  • You'll also need strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage tasks independently and under pressure.
