Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of carers? Do you have experience of working with vulnerable adults and providing care and support services? If so, we would love to hear from you As a Wellbeing Services Coordinator, you will play a key role in developing and delivering programmes that promote the wellbeing of carers in Sefton.

You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of wellbeing services, including workshops, groups and one-to-one sessions. You will also work closely with carers, other agencies and stakeholders to ensure that they receive the support they require.

About this role:

  • Estimated salary: £25,000 per annum (based on full-time equivalent)
  • Hours: 21 hours per week
  • Contract type: Fixed term contract until 31st March 2027 in the first instance

Main responsibilities:

  1. To coordinate the delivery of wellbeing services, including workshops, groups and one-to-one sessions
  2. To work closely with carers, other agencies and stakeholders to ensure that they receive the support they require
  3. To provide information and advice to carers on available services and support
  4. To contribute to the development of new services and initiatives to meet the needs of carers

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults and providing care and support services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
