About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Shift Manager to join our team at Refresco's Bondgate site. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver operational excellence in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP) metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operational reviews to ensure actions are completed and adherence to production plans.
  • Manage a team of supervisors, ensuring training, development, and succession planning are in place.
  • Maintain adequate staffing levels, control overtime, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety and GMP standards.
  • Collaborate with site teams to ensure production plans are met and adjusted when necessary.
  • Analyse, report, and present operational data, and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in managing a small team in a supervisory role, consistently meeting targets and driving performance improvements.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and quality systems in the food industry.
  • Excellent communication skills for building relationships at all levels.
  • Proficient in IT, including the use of in-house systems.
