Assistant Retail Manager

Retail Manager & Head of ACV

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Retail Manager to support the Retail Manager in the running of Alnwick Castle retail outlets.

This is a permanent position based at Alnwick Castle, with flexible working: 3 days (22.5 hours) over 7 days.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Retail Manager in the day-to-day operations of the retail outlets, including stock management, customer service, and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Retail Manager in the management of retail outlets
  2. Provide excellent customer service and sales support
  3. Contribute to the development of sales strategies and tactics
  4. Collaborate with the Retail Manager to achieve sales targets

Requirements:

  • A passion for retail and customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
