Pupil Support Assistant Role

The primary objective of this position is to provide active support to teachers in managing students with challenging behaviour, while maintaining high standards and adhering to school routines. Key responsibilities include supervising the seclusion room, including break and lunch times.

The successful candidate will offer support to students on issues such as behaviour, engagement, and attendance. Effective communication with pupils, staff, and parents is essential for ensuring comprehensive pastoral support for all students.

This role requires a confident and patient individual with competent behaviour management skills who can work collaboratively as part of a team. Previous experience working with young people facing barriers to learning will be advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
