About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our screening programme for people with learning disabilities in Dorset. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in improving health outcomes for this vulnerable population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase screening uptake among people with learning disabilities
  • Work closely with system partners, community sector organisations, and people with learning disabilities to identify barriers to access and develop solutions
  • Provide supervision, mentorship, and training to students and trained practitioners
  • Undertake a scoping review to identify areas for improvement and develop a plan to increase screening uptake
  • Collaborate with the Dorset Screening programme service to support the NHS Long Term Plan and improve health inequalities
