Job Title: Medical Services Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Admin for Community Services to join our team at InHealth. As a Clinical Admin, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our community services department.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Welcoming patients in a professional and courteous manner, coordinating their arrival through to departure, and escorting patients to and from the clinical area as required.
  • Explaining procedures in full and ensuring that any questions or concerns are managed professionally.
  • Completing patient pre-scan data protection/consent forms and health and safety questionnaires (where applicable).
  • Assessing and monitoring patient conditions after procedures, ensuring that any changes are reported to relevant staff immediately.
  • Delivering exceptional patient care throughout the MRI department, ensuring patient and customer focus is central to success.
  • Accurately entering all relevant patient data into the patient management system.
  • Managing administrative tasks within the unit, including dealing with telephone, direct, and face-to-face enquiries, booking clinically validated appointments on the internal system, and ensuring all payments are invoiced promptly and accurately.

  • A good understanding of health and safety and infection control principles.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a multi-skilled team.
  • Flexibility in working patterns to fulfill site requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
