About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing leadership and guidance to our clinicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to a team of clinicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Trust and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to oversee the delivery of patient care, ensuring that clinical standards are consistently met.
  • Manage a dynamic team of staff, coordinating the clinic's activities to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Provide support and guidance to other clinicians, helping them navigate complex cases and grow professionally.
  • Regularly review and update care plans to ensure they meet the evolving needs of our patients.
  • Conduct research to identify areas for improvement and evaluate clinical outcomes, driving continuous enhancement of our services.
Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualification – Health Professions Council registered, Occupational Therapist with Dip RCOT qualification or degree.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) portfolio.
  • Post basic qualification in community care / research.
  • Qualification in management and leadership within a healthcare setting.
  • Hold a psycho-social intervention qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience of supervising and managing staff.
  • Experience of providing leadership.
  • Experience of multidisciplinary working. Formal and informal teaching including supervising students.
  • Providing clinical and / or managerial supervision.
  • Experience and knowledge of clinical audit.
  • Experience of authorising payments /expenses and handling petty cash.
