Arcus Search is proud to support a global insurance company, on searching for an adaptable Bordereaux Technician to own the management of this business' growing marine book of business.

You will be joining them on a permanent basis, supporting the end-to-end validation of their marine claims, written and premium bordereaux. Working extensively with the underwriting teams in Europe, you will ensure regulatory and reporting requirements are fulfilled to their carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review portfolio for Business Unit monthly, highlighting issues and changes.
  • Facilitate production of written, claims or premium bordereaux, liaising with marine products in a multi-currency environment.
  • Ensure reports are accurate, up-to-date when sent to brokers and/or carriers.
  • Ensure all written business adheres to terms of the binding authority agreement, rectifying breaches as and when they arise.
  • Respond to external audit requirements and requests.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of marine insurance highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in production bordereaux (written, premium and claims).
  • Demonstrate resilience, confidence and development of relationships through meticulous communication and attention to detail.
  • Understand delegated authority.
