About the Role

We are seeking a talented Commis Chef to join our team at Graduate Hotels. As a Commis Chef, you will work closely with senior chefs to develop your skills and contribute to the success of our kitchen.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist senior chefs in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of kitchen procedures, including food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of classic cookery and seasonal British ingredients.
  • Good knife skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Level 2 food safety certification.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality dishes and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
