Sales Opportunity in Ophthalmology

A leading UK ophthalmic provider is seeking a skilled UK ophthalmic business development manager to drive sales growth and increase market share. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical device sales and a deep understanding of the ophthalmic industry.

As a sales professional, you will be responsible for promoting our premium ophthalmic products to clinicians, theatre / department managers and nursing staff, and presenting our products and services using clinical data.

Your key objectives will include increasing sales volume and revenue, maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving market share growth. You will also be required to influence and negotiate with clinical and purchasing stakeholders, and identify new business opportunities.

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of purchasing pathways within the NHS and private sector, and excellent consultative value-based selling skills. A patient-centric approach to business is essential, as well as the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.

Compensation Package:

  • Salary: £48,000 - £58,000 per annum
  • Bonus: Up to £15,000 on target + additional commission payments
  • Benefits: Company car (possible allowance if move onto company scheme after lease ends), car policy: Tesla (£60 monthly tax) or diesel/petrol options
