High Power Amplifier Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled High Power Amplifier Specialist to join our team of experienced engineers. This role is ideal for a professional with expertise in designing and developing high power amplifiers.

About the Role:

  • Amplifier Design: Design and develop high power amplifiers, considering factors such as efficiency, reliability, and cost.
  • Test and Validation: Develop and execute comprehensive testing and validation plans to ensure amplifiers meet customer requirements.
  • Technical Support: Act as a technical authority on amplifier issues, providing expertise and guidance to colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Radio Frequency design or related roles within a commercial environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in PCB design software and RF simulation tools; experience with RF amplifiers, filters, antennas, and EMC; and solid understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
  • Preferred Skills: Familiarity with up and down converters, power supply designs, and advanced test equipment such as network analyzer and signal spectrum analyzers.
  • Work Style: Ability to work independently, taking full ownership of tasks and projects with minimal oversight.
  • Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £100,000 per annum.
