Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HR to provide a best-in-class HR service, ensuring seamless employee experiences and fostering a culture of inclusivity and professional development.
  • Lead employee relations, including complex conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with managers and leaders, providing coaching, advice, and recommendations on people-related issues.
  • Drive core people processes, such as parental leave, probation, and performance reviews, ensuring alignment with business objectives and company policies.
  • Work closely with the People and Reward Manager and HR Business Partners to ensure clear communication, consistency of approach, and effective implementation of HR initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance on HR-related matters, including absence monitoring, employee engagement, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Produce reports and management information from HR systems, ensuring data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement of HR processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies, participating in the continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR Advisor in a confidential professional services environment, ideally with a CIPD level 5 or degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices, with a solution-focused approach to conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency in HR management systems, with a proactive approach to employee engagement and wellbeing.
  • Excellent relationship building and influencing skills, with the ability to work with attention to detail and high standards in a fast-paced environment.
