We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of individuals and property within your assigned area.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of vigilance and attention to detail. You will be responsible for monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV as appropriate, conducting external and internal security patrols, and issuing visitor/contractor passes.
In addition to these duties, you will provide support, guidance, and information to all staff, visitors, and contractors while ensuring the safeguarding of the premises and adhering to health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and respond to security incidents and alarms
- Conduct regular security patrols of the premises
- Issue visitor/contractor passes and manage access control
- Provide support and guidance to staff, visitors, and contractors
- Ensure the safeguarding of the premises and adherence to health and safety procedures
- SIA license
- 2 years' experience as a Security Officer
- Driver's license and access to own vehicle
- RTW and 5-year checkable history
- Confident and vigilant
- Good customer service skills
- Conflict management skills
- IT literacy
