About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join our team at Ethypharm Group. As a Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the machinery and equipment within our facility, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Coordinate with other staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations during your shift
  • Investigate equipment/plant failures and identify means to prevent recurrence
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve working practices and eliminate waste
Requirements
  • Educated to C&G level 2 or equivalent in electrical or mechanical disciplines
  • Experience of maintenance engineering within a GMP environment
  • Knowledge of pumps, motors, and mechanical drives, electrical drives, and basic electric diagnostics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Working Hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm, rotating weekly
