The Role: Shift Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities by maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular inspections of equipment and identifying potential issues.
  • Troubleshooting technical problems and implementing effective repairs.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless operations during your shift.
  • Adhering to established safety protocols and GMP guidelines.

Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A C&G Level 2 qualification or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Proven experience in maintenance engineering within a GMP environment.
  • Strong knowledge of planned preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Competency in basic machining, welding (MIG, ARC, and gas techniques), and IEE wiring regulations.
  • Familiarity with pumps, motors, mechanical drives, electrical drives, and basic electric diagnostics.
  • Understanding of PLC-based equipment operation.
