About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Planner to join our team at Michael Taylor Search & Selection Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing fitout and asset replacement works within the airport environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and understand Heathrow-specific milestones and durations relating to programme activities to build robust schedules.
  • Use information gathered from the immediate team, external supply chain, and existing benchmark data to produce clear programmes in Primavera P6 software, conforming to company standards.
  • Understand QSRA risk analysis requirements and build a programme conforming to DCMA 14-point assessment method.
  • Create level 1 to 5 schedules and communicate these to the project team.
  • Manage short-term planning on live projects.
  • Incorporate trade contractors' schedules into the project and company schedules.
  • Effective communication of scheduling and planning matters to all members of the project team.
  • Site walking to establish site progress and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Managing trade contractors' progress reporting and integration of progress information into the project schedule hierarchy.
  • Creating and monitoring KPIs and production of weekly/monthly dashboards and reports.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree qualification, a construction or project management background, and a hunger to grow your career.
  • Experience of working on large projects/programmes.
  • Proficient in the use of Primavera P6, Microsoft suite of programmes, and experience working under NEC3 and NEC4 forms of contract.
  • Fitout experience and a background in delivery is a prerequisite.
  • Can prove your previous 5 years' work history and have no reason to not be approved for a Heathrow airside pass.
