This role focuses on leveraging military experience and skills to drive innovation in the private sector, specifically at Amazon.

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment within the site.
  • Reacting quickly to breakdowns, communicating effectively with affected teams, and working efficiently to resolve issues.
  • Supporting and learning from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians.
  • Managing contractors and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship.

Requirements include:

  • A full engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  • Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Experience in conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters, and sortation machines.
