Maintenance Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team at a hotel in the Crawley Down area. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager in the upkeep and maintenance of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance of hotel facilities, including pool plant, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
  • Complete general maintenance tasks from the daily maintenance list, prioritizing tasks as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Manager to ensure that maintenance work is carried out to the required standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a guest/customer environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekend shifts.
