Teaching Assistant - Flexible Role

We are seeking a flexible Teaching Assistant to support our schools in the Rhondda area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work with pupils of all ages, providing support and assistance to those with Additional Learning Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with Additional Learning Needs in a variety of settings
  • Work with teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist with classroom activities and provide one-on-one support to pupils
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, pupils, and parents to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children is desirable, but not essential
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
