Baxter, a pioneer in medical innovations, seeks an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of life-saving products and technologies that transform healthcare.

The successful candidate will provide plant-wide maintenance support, including reactive and proactive maintenance, new installations, and project work. You will work rotating shifts, Monday – Sunday, 06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00.

The salary for this role is £48,000.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Raise corrective and reactive maintenance dockets on Maximo.
  • Assist and support queries to identify improvements to the stores system.
  • Review planned and preventative maintenance procedures and suggest improvements.
  • Escalate issues when necessary, in a timely manner.
  • Identify areas for improvement across site.
  • Deliver all activities at the standards required by GMP.
  • HNC or equivalent in electrical and mechanical engineering.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • HNC or equivalent in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • High degree of competency in electrical and mechanical fault finding.
  • Experience with Schematics Wiring and Circuitry.
  • Experience with automation and robotics.
  • Good experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good level of electrical (Safety cct and controllers), mechanical knowledge and understanding in a manufacturing environment.
  • Multiskilled discipline (Electrical & Mechanical).
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience of working in a validated & Regulated environment essential.
  • Show excellent communication skills.
  • Work as part of a wider team but also show the ability to work independently.
