Baxter is a leading global innovator in medical products and therapies. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Baxter, Thetford.

As a Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment
  • Raising corrective and reactive maintenance dockets on Maximo
  • Assisting and supporting queries to identify improvements to the stores system
  • Reviewing planned and preventative maintenance procedures and suggesting improvements
  • Escalating issues when necessary, in a timely manner
  • Identifying areas for improvement across site
  • Delivering all activities at the standards required by GMP

Requirements

  • 2-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • HNC or equivalent in electrical and mechanical engineering
  • High degree of competency in electrical and mechanical fault finding
  • Experience with Schematics Wiring and Circuitry
  • Experience with automation and robotics
  • Good experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Good level of electrical (Safety cct and controllers), mechanical knowledge and understanding in a manufacturing environment
  • Multiskilled discipline (Electrical & Mechanical)
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Experience of working in a validated & Regulated environment essential
  • Show excellent communication skills
  • Work as part of a wider team but also show the ability to work independently
