Maintenance Support for Factory Operations
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering team at our factory in Washington, England. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining site plant and equipment to required business and legal standards, improving machine efficiency and preventing unplanned downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain site plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Support the development of efficiency improvements in line with factory objectives.
- Develop and implement Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules to reduce downtime.
- Complete checklists allocated on a selective basis to ensure adherence to plan.
- Liaise with production equipment suppliers and engineering sub-contractors to organise repairs and breakdowns.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Prior electrical/mechanical engineering experience within a manufacturing background.
- A strong understanding of 18th edition wiring regulations.
- Experience of load cell tension control and working with three phase/single phase circuits.
- Able to work at heights using access equipment.
- An ONC qualification in an appropriate discipline.
