The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and a solid understanding of customs and shipping procedures for the UK, EU, and US. A background in fulfilment, preferably in a retail or fast-paced commercial environment, is required to be considered.

Key responsibilities of the Operations & Freight Manager include:

  • Managing the company's shipments from around the world
  • Ensuring cargo is promptly customs cleared and delivered to warehouses and customers across the globe
  • Processing shipping invoices and monitoring logistics-based costs
  • Processing and checking shipping documents, liaising with suppliers and customers worldwide
  • Ensuring the company obtains the best prices and services from shipping lines and standardising freight forwarding processes

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Freight - Import / Export & logistics experience
  • Solid knowledge of shipping procedures
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to work well in a pressurised environment

This role is based on-site 5 days a week, but after a successful probation, it will become hybrid.
