Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Crane Worldwide Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of cargo throughout the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with clients, customs, and agents to ensure timely and efficient cargo movement.
  • Prepare and process export, import, and customs clearance documents.
  • Track and trace cargo to ensure proper movement and delivery.
  • Manage billing and cost information in our Transportation Management System (TMS) for accurate invoicing and job costing.
  • Communicate with customers regarding freight disposition, including tracking, tracing, routing, and dispatching.
  • Collaborate with other Crane Worldwide Logistics branches and agents to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Identify and implement the most profitable mode of shipment while meeting customer requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for DNI, LNR, cost accuracy, and ROTP.
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry policies.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of import and export regulations, governance, and documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Physical Requirements

  • Talking, hearing, and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
  • Sitting for extended periods.
  • Walking within the warehouse and inspecting freight.
  • Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
