About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Moulding Technical Specialist to join our team at Reliance Worldwide Corporation. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for developing and optimising injection moulding processes to ensure high-quality products and efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain stable, repeatable, and optimised injection moulding processes for RWC tooling and materials.
  • Troubleshoot moulding processes and material or equipment issues, and create and maintain troubleshooting guides.
  • Define and implement optimised injection moulding processes to meet health and safety, process capability, quality, and efficiency targets.
  • Evaluate tooling for areas of concern and recommend improvements to optimise moulding, setup, and overall manufacturing processes.
  • Document and maintain moulding process packs, and provide training and guidance to colleagues to achieve business objectives.
  • Resolve process concerns and work with stakeholders to identify root causes and implement permanent corrective actions.
  • Analyse manufacturing processes and identify improvements, and report recommendations to management.
  • Conduct trials for new materials and ensure suitability with existing tooling and equipment.
Requirements
  • A proven track record of process development within the plastics industry.
  • A wide experience of engineering polymers across a range of industries.
  • Use of process optimisation and Process Capability studies.
  • Relevant experience in injection moulding in a high-volume manufacturing operation.
  • NVQ Level 3- Injection Moulding.
