LHH Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports.
- Perform bank and customer account reconciliations.
- Manage sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
- Process day-to-day transactions and ensure accuracy.
- Support the finance team in meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
- Develop and maintain strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Stay up-to-date with financial regulations and industry developments.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a finance role.
- Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
- Working towards being fully qualified or part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, AAT).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel (Pivot tables and V lookups).
- Well-organized and flexible to meet the requirements of the job.
