About the Role

Candlelighters is a leading children's cancer charity in Yorkshire, dedicated to bringing light and hope to families affected by childhood cancer. We are seeking an experienced Fundraiser to join our team as a Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser, responsible for generating income through the implementation of a Trust Fundraising Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Trust Fundraising Strategy to secure funding from trusts and foundations.
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Prepare compelling grant applications and reports to ensure successful funding outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Trust Fundraising Strategy, and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A proven track record of securing funding from trusts and foundations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new funding opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
