About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Private Sector Housing Officer to join our team at Park Avenue Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with housing regulations and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate complaints of poor standards of accommodation and take enforcement action as necessary
  • Conduct HHSRS assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Work with landlords and tenants to resolve issues and improve housing conditions
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
Requirements
  • Proven experience in environmental health or a related field
  • Knowledge of housing regulations and legislation, including the Housing Act 2004
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
