Occupational Therapist Specialist

We are seeking two enthusiastic and motivated occupational therapists to join our community occupational therapy team in the South West Locality.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to support people living in the community, helping them find solutions to living safely and independently at home.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Undertake assessments and provide guidance to individuals living in the community.
- Collaborate with Social Workers, Community Care Assistants, and Health Professionals to promote a multi-disciplinary approach to supporting residents in their homes.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote good manual handling practices, including risk assessment and care planning.
- Assess and recommend equipment, minor and major adaptations, and supportive services in accordance with best practice and council policies.
- A degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy recognized by the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- PVG Scheme membership or completion of PVG Scheme update check.
Competitive Salary Range: £37,626 - £44,257 per year.
