About The Cake Crew

We are a dynamic team of bakers and innovators passionate about creating the next big thing in cake. We are seeking a talented Development Baker to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional baked goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our NPD team to develop new products and recipes
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and legality in our bakery operations
  • Manage kitchen samples, ingredients, and packaging to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Support the team with workload and tasks to ensure seamless operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the packaging area and cupboards
  • Assist with sample preparation, labeling, and addressing
  • Support ad hoc project work, trials, and launches as required
  • Comply with and assist in the implementation of company policies related to food safety, quality, and legality
Requirements
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and numeracy skills to provide data on time
  • Confident, articulate, and courteous communication skills
  • High flexibility, competence, and adaptability, with a willingness to take responsibility for own improvement
  • Enthusiasm and pride in work, with effective communication at all levels and respect for others
  • Good understanding of ingredients used in the bakery sector and a flair for innovation and creativity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to motivate people
