Job Title: Development Baker

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Development Baker to join our team at The Cake Crew. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and delicious baked goods that meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement new recipes and products that meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with our NPD team to ensure that all products are developed and tested to meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure that all products are manufactured and packaged in a clean and safe environment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure that we have access to high-quality ingredients and materials.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations and provide feedback on product development.
  • Participate in product launches and ensure that all products are launched on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of food safety and quality standards and ensure that all products meet these standards.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of baking and pastry arts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
