Lead a Cluster in Novel Human In Vitro Models of Complex Disease

We are seeking an exceptional researcher to lead a cluster in a coordinated network for novel human in vitro models of complex disease. This is a unique opportunity to develop, validate, and adapt human in vitro disease models for ready adoption by end users in academia, industry, or both.

About the Role

You will be based at an organisation eligible for MRC funding and must meet individual eligibility requirements. Clusters should be focused on specific disease areas of high unmet need or addressing common needs with relevance to multiple disease domains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a cluster in a coordinated network for novel human in vitro models of complex disease.
  • Work with a team of researchers to develop, validate, and adapt human in vitro disease models.
  • Ensure the models are ready for adoption by end users in academia, industry, or both.
Requirements
  • A PhD in a relevant field, such as biology, medicine, or biomedical sciences.
  • Significant experience in developing and validating human in vitro disease models.
  • An excellent track record of publishing research in top-tier journals.
