Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure safe and efficient transportation of patients and equipment between NHS Trusts and Boards.

- Conduct daily vehicle checks to guarantee roadworthiness and report any defects or deficiencies.

- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, and fuel consumption.

Operational Duties:

- Plan and execute transportation routes to optimize service delivery.

- Operate communication systems and equipment in accordance with company policies.

- Participate in the company's appraisal scheme and professional development programs.

Logistics and Administration:

- Manage stock levels and replenish as required.

- Record accurate data and information to ensure quality standards are met.

Company Policies and Procedures:

- Comply with all company policies and procedures.

- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as supplied by the company.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Provide courier services between NHS Trusts and Boards.

- Comply with local and national policies for the safe, secure, and confidential processing and storage of patient and other confidential data.
