About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and inspire a team of dedicated Care Assistants, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants to deliver high-quality care and support to residents.
  • Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans, and care reviews.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and support provided to residents.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • An NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
  • Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
