Empathetic Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic support specialist to join our team in Roche. As a Relief Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.
About the RoleThe role requires you to be a driver and work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. You will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support to help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily activities such as personal care, medication management, and meal preparation
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals with learning disabilities
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate records and reports on client progress
- A genuine passion for supporting others and making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities
- A competitive salary of approximately £23,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
- An annual leave entitlement based on hours accrued
