Senior Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a Senior Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in our 12-bedded Critical Care Unit in Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
About the RoleThe Senior Critical Care Nurse will be responsible for ensuring a high level of patient care at all times throughout the unit. They will be actively involved in, as well as supervising, patient care, managing unplanned admissions and ensuring accurate staffing levels. They will need to be confident in leading the unit in the absence of senior management and be involved in the supervision and development of junior team members.
Requirements- NMC Registered Nurse
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing
- Post Registration Course relevant to critical care area
- Mandatory training to be up to date
- Significant experience in band 5 in critical care
- Evidence of people management and leadership skills alongside the ability to care with warmth and understanding
- Evidence of critical analysis skills
