Lead Occupational Therapist Role

Elysium Healthcare is seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Occupational Therapist to spearhead our occupational therapy services at St Mary's Hospital.

In this position, you will be responsible for driving quality improvement initiatives, enhancing patient outcomes, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.

You will collaborate with the Therapy Lead and multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver effective interventions that cater to the diverse needs of service users.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leveraging evidence-based practice to design and implement cutting-edge interventions that promote recovery and independence for service users.
  2. Leading and motivating a team of occupational therapists, providing guidance and mentorship to support professional growth.
  3. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records, ensuring seamless communication between teams.
  4. Developing and implementing strategies to enhance service user engagement and satisfaction, driving patient-centred care.
  5. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate referrals, conduct thorough assessments, and inform intervention planning.
  6. Designing and delivering rehabilitation programmes to address living skills, educational needs, and psychological well-being.
  7. Utilising psychometric and risk assessment tools to inform decision-making and drive best practice.
Compensation Package:

Salary: £62,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
