As a fire safety management specialist at Incommunities, you will be responsible for managing our High-Rise Fire & Building Safety projects. This includes delivering planned remediation and asset investment works, ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Regulator's expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multi-million pound, complex planned fire and building safety remediation projects, including partnership working with consultants to oversee design, procurement, onsite delivery, and sign-off.
  • Direct management of dedicated Customer Liaison Officers, ensuring clear communication with contractors, consultants, and customers about project timelines, risks, and outcomes.
  • Monitor financial spend versus budgets, reforecasting and implementing mitigations as needed.
  • Ensure data captured and recorded is robust and fit for purpose, supporting the Golden Thread of Information and the Building Safety Case.
Requirements
  • HNC/Degree/Diploma education in construction or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' onsite experience managing complex investment works, including fire safety projects.
  • Experience of surveying, building diagnostics, and holistic root-to-branch analysis, with knowledge of residential maintenance, refurbishment, and compliance regimes.
  • Extensive knowledge of The Building Safety Act, Building Safety Regulator, and planning Gateway Process.
  • Strong customer focus, with excellent numeracy, literacy, and IT skills.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is £47,502 - £51,931 per annum, plus benefits including West Yorkshire Pension Fund membership, annual leave, training opportunities, and access to our wellbeing and benefits site, Our Hub.
