Job Title: Health and Safety Manager

At Undisclosed, we are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company\'s health and safety policies and procedures are implemented effectively across all sites and office locations.

  1. Review and manage health, safety, and environment policies and procedures.
  2. Review risk assessments, method statements, and COSHH assessments.
  3. Review Construction Phase Plans and associated documentation prior to project commencement.
  4. Undertake site inspections and audits, identifying areas for improvement and reporting on the findings.
  5. Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the company\'s health, safety, and environment management systems.
  6. Ensure the company\'s management systems are formally accredited to ISO45001, 14001 & 9001 by the end of 2025.
  7. Oversee the implementation of an electronic quality management portal.
  8. Carry out regular health and safety inspections both on site and within office premises.
  9. Ensure compliance on all sites in line with both legal and best practice requirements.
  10. Conduct training, toolbox talks, inductions, and investigate incidents where required.
  11. Attend site and management meetings as and when required.
  12. Visit live projects to ensure compliance and consistency is achieved.
  13. Work collaboratively with external and internal departments to ensure smooth running of health and safety on site and in office locations, taking appropriate action to address issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  14. Ensure all company accreditations (CHAS, Constructionline, Safe contractor, Avetta, Achilles, Eco-Vardis, and others) are maintained.
  15. Attend SHEQ meetings to review project and business performance.
  16. Ensure all subcontractors\' PQQ are assessed for their suitability and eligibility to undertake works on our behalf.
  17. Line management of a team of three.
  18. In-depth knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations and other relevant Health and Safety legislation.
  19. Proven track record of successfully managing and overseeing health and safety programs for construction-related companies.
