About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Technical Project Manager to join our team at ConvaTec. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of new product development and lifecycle management projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership to cross-functional project teams, ensuring successful project delivery within agreed scope, timing, and budget.
  • Develop and manage project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and issue escalation.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Commercial teams to drive project execution and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, design control, and business processes.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.
About You:
  • You will have a University Degree in Engineering, Science, or Computer Science, with a strong background in project management.
  • Proven experience in managing new product development projects in the regulated medical device space, from initial concept through commercial launch.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Thorough understanding of medical device development standards and regulations.
  • Strong proficiency in project management software tools and applications.
