Health and Safety Manager

Are you a seasoned Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional seeking a new challenge?

Engenda Group is currently seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join the team on a long-term contract in Hampshire.
You will be responsible for driving a world-class HSE performance across the group, participating in creating a strategic plan for HSE activity, ensuring regulatory compliance across HSE, and providing leadership to group and project-based HSE advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive HSE strategy to promote a culture of safety and well-being across the organization.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on HSE matters, including legislative compliance and client requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of HSE advisors to ensure effective implementation of HSE policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement initiatives to improve HSE performance and reduce risks.
- Provide operational support to the management team and contribute to the development of HSE policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing HSE on UK petrochemical sites, refineries, chemical processing facilities, or a similar sector.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
